10 Things Women Need to Know When Taking a Chick Trip to Las Vegas

Many single women have celebrated their farewell to singlehood in Las Vegas, with a Bachelorette Party trip. However, Vegas is not just for Bachelorette parties. More and more women are opting for a trip to Vegas to celebrate birthdays, graduations, divorces, or they just need to get away. There are things that women do on trips to Vegas that do not happen with male trips or co-ed trips to Sin City. As a person that goes to Vegas on a yearly basis, I have seen many different things on the streets of Vegas.

Here are a few things that women who are taking a chick trip need to know about Las Vegas.

1. There are too many great spas in the city not to take advantage. The number of spas and the services that are offered to its patrons is limitless. You can always opt to patronize the spa in your home base, or you can opt to go to one of the many others. Some spas offer services that are a lot more expensive than at other locations. If in doubt, do not hesitate to call and ask.

2. Forget about your diet...there is too much great food not to take advantage. If you can do it without endangering your health, enjoy some of the many different types of foods available in Las Vegas. This is one of the only places in the country that you can experience every kind of food available under the sun, within a few blocks of each other. You can work it off when you get back home.

3. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but you do not want to bring home something you will regret. Keep in mind that just because you are in such a large city and you may be far from your home, there are too many things going on in the world to take a chance. The commercials are cute and all, but you have to use your brain, just as you normally would.

4. Dress to impress if you are clubbing. There are many clubs in Las Vegas, almost too many to name. Los Angeles is only a four-hour drive away, so you will find that on weekends that many celebrities will be clubbing right along with you. For this reason, it is much easier for groups of women to get into clubs than it is for men. However, you have to look the part. Thus, keep in mind that you need nice club attire to party in Vegas.

5. Shopping is wonderful in Vegas. Not only can you find shops for the top designers in many of the shops attached to hotels like Bellagio, Palazzo, Wynn, and others, but also there are too many outlet malls to name. Many of the outlet shopping centers, offer name brand items that are discounted for one reason or another. The Coach store is my favorite.6. There is such a thing as cute and comfortable. Too many times, I have seen women who think they have to sacrifice style for comfort. It is not good to be forced to walk up and down the strip or down the streets of old downtown Vegas, in uncomfortable shoes. This is just not worth it. Many a woman has been forced to either return to their hotel unexpectedly to change shoes or to purchase sensible yet stylish shoes because they did not bring any.

7. If you are club hopping to different hotels, it is worth it to rent a limo. Rather than take the chance of getting into an accident on the traffic bogged Las Vegas Strip, just pay the money for the limo. This ensures that everyone that wants to drink can do so, without having to sacrifice her good time.

8. You can drink and walk in Vegas, but not drive. It is all right to walk down the street in Las Vegas with drink in hand, but you cannot do it in the car. Not even passengers. In addition, the Las Vegas Police do not have a problem writing tickets and arresting people for public intoxication. So if you have to think about it, then do not do it.9. It is safe to walk the strip and around downtown at all times of night. Surprising enough at all times of night it's safe to walk along the strip, and even in downtown where people normally experience problems in other major cities, it's safe to walk from casino to casino without really having to worry. Of course, it is best to use common street sense. If something does not feel right or makes you feel uneasy, then do not do it.

10. Take the Stripper 101 Class. This is a class that is offered to everyone that teaches everyone from schoolteacher to homemaker how to incorporate strip tease in the bedroom or wherever else you feel the need. Classes are available seven days a week, as well as there being several packages available, including the Pearl Package which is 6 or more for $50. You only need to be 18 to take the class, and they suggest that you bring a pair of stilettos for practice of the stripper moves. This is located at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
