Tip #1 Check for Florida Specials. By this I mean, call around. You can find a good deal, you just have to search for it. Check for monthly specials or one time only specials. Stay fewer days and get better rates!
Tip #2 Check online yellow pages for smaller motels and hotels. These places are desperate to rent out their rooms. Take advantage of this and get the best rates possible. Pull out every tip you know to get the best price, the most days, the best room ... basically, you want to use the downward economy to your advantage.
Tip #3 Book your trip on weekdays. Not only can you get better rates, but you possibly can get a free day. Again, ask for every special available. It is totally ok to grill the motel for every last special rate or deal.
