- Break up your workout. Most people do not like getting up super early to workout. The alternative is to get up a half hour earlier in the morning and do the first half of your workout. After work, you finish your workout. It's that simple.
- If you do not feel like working out, do a "light" workout. A half hour walk is better than nothing. You can even do this on your lunch break.
- Create a dream board to inspire you to workout. A dream board is when you cut out words or pictures that symbolize what you desire to come into your life. Now, the disclaimer is this: if you cut out a picture of a celebrity do not expect to look exactly like them. The point is that they are at a healthy weight.
- Pickup a magazine such as Prevention, Shape, Fitness Magazine, Weight Watchers, or Men's Health. These magazines provide great tools and tips for working out. Also, they provide success stories. What better way to motivate you to workout by reading how someone else lost weight and kept it off!
- Sign up for an exercise class. Spinning, dance, or some other aerobic exercise can be more fun when you are in a group.
- Buying new clothes is a good motivator. Working out will cause you to lose weight which means you'll have to buy new clothes.
- Blogs and forums. You can find great tips and tricks on blogs. Forums are a great way to meet others who are working out and losing weight. This a great motivator because you can ask others what they do to stay motivated.
- Feeling good about yourself. No matter how much weight you lose in the first month or two, you'll feel better. When you feel good about yourself that feeling will transfer to every one you meet!
- Choose different exercises for your workout. Spice up your workouts! One day do kick boxing, the next day run, and the following day workout the abs and lift weights. Changing your workout is a great way to avoid boredom.
