10 Top Toys for Kids this Upcoming 2007 Christmas

"Toy Wishes" magazine recently published their (traditionally accurate) list of the most popular toys for 2007. They are also predicting that these will be the ones that sell out before Christmas even arrives! Of their list, here are the top 10:

1. American Idol Talent Challenge by Tech2Go - Sing along with American Idol performers while watching them on DVD. Features a microphone and mixer, plus a DVD with 12 top songs with and without accompanying vocals from the competetors. There is also a karaoke screen mode with text that shows the words to make it easier to sing along. Echo effect for a more pro sound.

2. Aqua Dots Studio from Spinmaster - Add water and watch Aqua Dots come together like magic! All you need is imagination and water. Use templates and create unique designs. Comes with a built-in dryer to make finishing designs easy. Aqua Dots with Template creator can be bought optionally, and refills include Crystal and Glow in the Dark. Themed refills also available.

3. Barbie Girls from Mattel - Barbie has gone high-tech! Mattel has created a Barbie fashion doll that doubles as an MP3 player with 512 MB of memory (1 GB also available). She can be connected to the internet from the computer and used to have tons of fun on the Barbie Girls website! Online, girls can play games, chat with their friends and shop with virtual money that they earn. Optionally, fashion packs and deco packs are available.

4. Eye Clops by Jakks - See up to 200 times the size of normal objects, right from the TV screen! Hand-held Eye Clops plugs right into the AV jacks found on any current TV. It's educational and fun! Can also purchase Eye Clops with bonus viewing stand as an option.

5. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock by Activision - This is the third game of the Guitar Hero series. Has the standard features of Guitar Hero, plus some new options including multiplayer battle mode, boss battles, unlockable content and more authentic rock venues. The online multiplayer feature will allow rockers from all over the world to compete. New songs, including "School's Out" by Alice Cooper, "Barracuda" by Heart, "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour, "Rock and Roll All Night" by Kiss.

6. Hannah Montanta Singing Dolls, Stage and Accessories from Play Along - Two separate dolls available, each sing a single Hannah Montana hit ("Best of Both Worlds" and "The Other Side of Me"). The outfits she wears are the same as on the Disney series, "Hannah Montana". The stage (sold separately) has working lights and sound, with five light shows. Stage can plug into MP3 players so that more hits can be played. Other Hannah Montana Singing Accessories include a cordless microphone and fashion collections.

7. Nerf N-Strike Disk Shot from Hasbro - Load foam disks and micro-darts into the Disk Shot, use the blaster to knock disks out of the air. Wireless remote allows control of when the disks are shot. Disks can be launched at multiple angles and has two height settings. Expansion pack is available.

8. Rubik's Revolution by Techno Source - This is the electronic version of the classic, Rubik's Cube. It has 6 games and multiple levels for each game. Games include "Light Speed", "Rapid Recharge", "Pattern Panic", "Code Cracker", "Multiplayer Madness" and "Cube Catcher".

9. Fisher Price Smart Cycle and Video Games - Child version of a stationary bike that challenges children with learning games while riding. Some activities require peddling, some do not. Kids can drive and learn at their own pace. Various games sold separately.

10. Spotz by Zizzle - Choose the image inside and create unique, individualized Spotz. Kids can light up their created Spotz and decorate the Spotz maker with Jotz. Lots of fun for kids.
