10 Ways to Bring Romance into Your Marriage

WRITER
The years of marriage can make people fade away. The busy schedules that we have might make us forget about the reasons that we got married. It is very important to remember the love and passion that we had from day one. You must do things that remind us of how we feel toward each other. It is incredible how little things make a big difference in life. Here are some ways to make that romance come back to life. Remember we like to forget about how good we have it until it is gone.

1) When your spouse is in the shower put some Hersey Kisses trail from the door to the bed with a big heart. Write a note in the middle of the heart that says "I kiss the ground you walk on".

2) Send your spouse an email on 50 different reasons why you love them so much. Sounds like a lot? It was very easy when you first met them.

3) Write small notes and post them near the dishwasher, laundry room, and kitchen. A simple note that says "Thank you for washing the clothes" or "Thank you for the lovely dinner" would be priceless.

4) Send your spouse a text message once in a while telling them that you love them.

5) Plan a weekend getaway. You do not have to spend a lot of money. Just make a reservation and find a babysitter. Make it a surprise and do not tell your spouse until the day has come.

6) Send your spouse a card with a key in it. Write a note that says you are the only one with the key to my heart.

7) Help with the housework. There is nothing more romantic then a couple washing dishes and folding clothes together.

8) Buy them a small gift next time you go to the mall. It can be something small it is the thought that counts. Give them the gift and tell them I was just thinking of you.

9) Buy some massage oil and give your spouse a spontaneous massage. Just tell them how much you appreciate their hard work for the family.

10) Kiss and hold hand in public and in front of your friends. That shows that you are proud of the person you are with and love them.

With a terminally ill husband, romance sometimes takes a back seat in life, but #10 is right on the mark!! Romance can be just as special with simple gestures. A smile or wink from across the room will always remind you of why you fell in love to begin with.
