A great way to keep cool during hot summer days can be by simply staying in the shade and out of the soon. Try to find a nice tree, or anywhere that offers shade.

Ice cream is a great way for anyone young or old to cool down during summer days. Ice cream is also usually very inexpensive and will cool your taste buds.
# 7 Make hand made head coolers
This is a great creative way to save electricity and water this summer. Get some small towels and run them over some water, then put them in the freezer. When it gets really hot during the summer you can take them out and put them on your head or anywhere to cool you down. This way you do not have to use air-conditioning or water as much.
# 6 Open Windows and Turn off lights
During hot summer days it is always good to open windows and let fresh air in, and turn off unnecessary lights.
# 5 Make some Lemonade
This is a great and inexpensive way to keep you cool and not thirsty.
# 4 Wear a Hat
If you are going outside on a hot day wearing a hat can definitely help you stay cool. Another good idea is soaking you hat in some water before going out this can help your body keep a normal temperature.
# 3 Keep a Spray Bottle around
Spray bottles are great inexpensive tools to help you keep cool. This way you don't have to use air-conditioning, and you don't have to keep running water.
# 2 Don't Dehydrate
Make sure to drink a lot of fluids on hot days to make sure your body is at a normal temperature
# 1 Go to the Beach, Lake, or Public Pool
Instead of continually using water to keep cool why not go somewhere that already has some. Going to the beach, Lake, or pool is a great way to save water and to keep your self nice and cool during summer days.
So if you want to keep cool and save some money these are just a few ways you can do it.
