Part Time Job: During the holiday seasons these are easy to get, or if you have a car that is easy on gas you may be able to deliver pizzas. This option will take time away from your family, but will give you extra money every month. Even if you do retail sales you usually can work just a few days a week a few hours at a time. There are many places that would hire for peak periods, usually weekends and nights.
Babysitting on Weekend nights: Most parents would love a night out or a night alone while knowing that their children are safe. This is where you could babysit the children for the whole night and have the picked up the next morning. This way the parents wouldn't have to rush home. It's hard to find teenagers to babysit and if you do, you have to rush home to let the babysitter go home.
Grass cutting or Snow Shoveling: Both of these can be done quickly and can be profitable. It's easy to get started with this check type of work check first with your neighbors to see if they need work done or put up flyers. This is best if you have a snow blower or a riding mower that way you can quickly get done and go on to the next job. If you have a snowblade on your vehicle you can also pick up jobs during winter months by doing driveways.
Cleaning Businesses at nights: This can be done in just a few hours and can be very profitable. If you have older children they can go along with you and help out by vacuuming, or emptying the trashcans. You could also clean houses or garages for people who just don't have enough time to do it themselves.
Making money from your hobby: If you are into crafts, you can sell your creations to friends and families, or online at online auctions. If you like to cook, busy moms would appreciate a home cooked meal that is ready to eat after microwaving. No matter what your hobby is someone would be interested in it.
Tutoring children: If you are good in a school subject then you can easily tutor students one on one to help them get better grades in school.
Writing: There are many places that you can write for and earn money. Check on online for writers markets to see what openings there are.
Website design: With Word-Press you can quickly make a website easily. You will need to know a little about design and html codes but most of the sites make it easy to figure out. You can make a professional looking site with ease with this site. Find a small business and design a site for them to make some extra money.
Selling Plasma: This can be done weekly, and if you live close enough it will take about 30-45 minutes and you will earn money for your time.
Dog or Pet Sitting: Do you have a fenced in yard that you could keep a dog for a few hours a day? Many people have pets that when they travel they can't take the pets with them. Kennels, especially over holidays fill up quickly and owners have no options for their pets. Or sometimes they want to go away on short notice with no one to care for their pets. This would be a great option for them, you can do it from your home or go visit the pet at their home.
If you really stop and think about what you could do, you could probably come up with many other ways to earn an extra $100 a month. It breaks down to $25 a week, what skills do you have to earn $25 a week?

Sounds a lot like my weekends and summer as a kid. Being a member of a church with lots of elderly members helps to get a number of these jobs.
