1) Use A Different Exercise Machine-
Using the same exercising machine can get quite boring. Mix it up! You will also get better effects from different machines. From an exercise bike, you'll get a great leg workout. When you use a machine for crunches and sit ups, you'll get a great ab workout. You can use a certain machine for an arm/upper body workout, and so forth. Make a routine out of this, and the results will be a full body work out!
2) Try Different Exercise Routines-
Boredom could have to do with getting tired easily. Find what time of the day you're most energized, and plan your exercise routine according to it!
3) Give Yourself A Treat For Sticking To Your Routine-
Rewarding yourself is important when it comes to sticking to a routine. It makes you feel good about what you're doing by this simple form of motivation, and also by giving you something to look forward to. If you have trouble sticking to your exercise routine, get someone else to keep track of it for you. Get Motivated!
4) Create A Goal-
Create a goal, and stick to it. Don't make it a tremendous goal, but something simple and reasonable such as wanting to loose 5 pounds in 2 weeks. It will help motivate you, if you keep in mind that you're exercising for a reason.
5) Challenge Yourself-
It's great to challenge someone, but when you challenge yourself, its even better. Think you can't loose a certain amount of weight? Try it, and challenge yourself with it. You'll be surprised with the results. You can do almost anything as long as you have motivation, and if you're looking to loose a couple pounds, exercising is the best way to do it.
6) Buy Something New To Wear While Exercising-
The clothes you're wearing while exercising really do matter. Nothing fancy, just something that is comfortable and easy to move around in. It might bother or irritate you, if your clothes are too tight. Buy something comfortable to wear, and not curve hugging. You may be able to throw together an outfit from your closet, and not have to make an extra trip out or spend extra money!
7) Add A New Piece To Your Wardrobe And Make A Goal To Look Good In It.
Another idea would be to buy a new outfit that you want to be able to look good in (but not have to loose like 20 pounds). Just something that is close to your ideal weight, that would flatter your body. And create your goal around how you want to be able to fit in and look good in that outfit. This will also make you feel better about yourself.
7) Write down a list of reasons why you exercise and why it's important to you-
Sometimes when you exercise and have a lack of motivation, it may be helpful to remember why you're doing it in the first place. This tip will be very helpful to you, and it is also very useful when you want to create a goal. It's important to keep a list of reasons why you want to exercise. It comes in a lot of handy. Especially when you don't feel like exercising.
8) Try An Exercise Video-
Exercise videos are motivating and fun. You can do them without having to leave your house, and do them in the comfort of your own home! You can buy exercise videos just about anywhere. Prices for the videos are as low as $1. I even found one at the dollar store! I really liked it, but I recommend The FIRM, or walk away the pounds. And instead of purchasing exercise videos, you can also rent them at your local video store, or on Netflix.
9) Exercise With A Friend-
Make exercise fun by exercising with someone else. Go for a walk, or go to the gym together. It's always better than doing it alone.
10) Try A New Workout.
You'll never know what you don't like unless you try it.
