10 Tips For Some Pizzazz
I have learned to have very specific tasks laid out for me and set deadlines this tends to keep more motivated when I end my work shift as I look forward to getting to my pre-set agenda that is planned.
I consume an energy bar towards the end of my last hour to give me more zest for the ride home.
During the ride home I turn up the radio in the car to help me keep that get up and go feeling. And this means anything to help me feel relaxed or to give me that pepped up feeling. No sad or dreary songs as this may have the opposite effect.
I have also found that if I enroll in an exercise class right after work this will not create any distractions from going home first. Exercising will definitely revitalize that drained out feeling.
I plan an outing ahead of time on those nice days with or without the kids so as to keep my spirits up so when that clock strikes the time to go home I develop a better mind frame.
I also sign up my kids in extra curricular activities right after school as to keep me pumped up and my energy levels tend to soar just because I feel obligated to have to take them and pick them up, I must admit that this can be stressful, however in a good way it tends to keep me going and gets rid of that procrastination feeling that I often have when I have nothing planned.
I always think happy thoughts closer to the end of my shift as this will cause less stress and in turn invigorate those inner feeling that will give me a positive response.
I find that if I complete all my work by the end of my day I feel better and have a sense of accomplishment and it gives me a piece of mind as a leave my job and this automatically gives me a new found feeling of being energized
I plan a creative meal that requires my brain to become more focused while cooking amazingly enough just knowing that the end product will be beautiful it gives me that automatic thrill to keep going.
Lastly, I plan a get together with friends after work. It is pretty remarkable how being with others just to share a good laugh keeps my energy levels at a high.
As you can see most of these tips all require one thing and it is just basic mind over matter. How you feel mentally will definitely have an impact on how you feel physically. The secret to jump starting your day after working is having a positive outlook all day. Keeping up the momentum for the end of the day really starts first thing in the morning.
Just remember more pleasure causes less fatigue.
