You may need a little pampering.
Everyone needs a day that they just need to relax. I know I do. I also want to be pampered, so here are some ideas that you might like to try.
1. GET A GOOD NIGHT'S REST. A sound sleep is one of the best ways that you can pamper your self. Why? Because so many people do not get the full amount of sleep that their body needs. It also helps your skin look great!
2. GO TO BED at the same time every night. Put a drop of essential oil of lavender on your pillow or mixed it with some potpourri beside your bed. This can also help you sleep.
3. EXERCISE- walk, run, dance, ride a bike, and take a hike. Get outside in the fresh air! Take a deep breath ....... then exercise away. If you exercise early in the day. It will help you sleep better at night.
4. BASK IN THE SUNLIGHT for about 10 to 15 minutes. Did you know that 10 to 15 minutes unprotected exposure to sunlight several times a week helps your bones and skin and it helps your body to absorb calcium?
5. WATER-WATER-WATER your body needs it. Most people do not get enough of water. Eight to twelve, 8-ounce glasses of pure water a day will help to clean your body inside and out and it will help make your skin GLOW!
6. FRESHEN YOUR BREATH- Does your breath need some help? Cloves to the rescue. Yes, Cloves. For sweet smelling breathe suck on a clove or two. For a mouth wash add 3 to 4 drops of essential oil of cloves to 4 ounces of water. Swish and gargle bad breath away.
7. LET FRAGRANCE FILL THE AIR- Do you like the scent of roses, gardenia, lavender, or honeysuckle? I am going to tell you how to make the perfect room freshener. First you will need a 4 oz. spray bottle filled with distilled water, then 3 to 4 drops of essential oil of your choice. Shake the bottle so that all ingredients are thoroughly mixed together. Then spray away bad orders in your home or car. You will feel so much more relaxed when your surroundings are filled with a lovely fragrance that fills the air.
8. GET A FACIAL- Pamper your face. Apply a mask and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Sit back and relax while the mask takes effect. Rinse it off and then apply a toner and a wonderful moisturizer. Your skin will be tighter, exfoliated, your pores will be smaller and your skin will look smooth. A facial is so refreshing.
9. READ YOUR BIBLE- The Word of God will strengthen you, give you peace, joy, and help you rest in the Lord. Let Jesus take all your cares and lift your burdens. Now you can get the rest you really need.
10. DRINK SOME TEA- If it is cold outside. Why not try warming a cup of water, adding some ginger, cinnamon and some stevia or honey to it. You will be warm and relaxed. If it is hot outside, try a nice cold glass of homemade lemonade. You will need 2 lemons, 4 ice cubes, water and stevia . Now you will feel cool and refreshed inside. Stevia is a natural sweetener from the stevia plant. You can find it at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods Market, and at many natural food stores.
Remember only you can take the time to pamper yourself. Go ahead and take the time, because you deserve it!
