Independence Day is celebrated with backyard barbeques, fireworks, and parades. It is also celebrated through the hanging of our national flag, planting red, white, and blue flowers or decorating our homes and yards with other symbolic items. Some people even show their patriotism by decorating their business offices or cubicles. Patriotic decorations need not be restricted to just Independence Day, as there are many ways to display your patriotism throughout the year. Americangreetings.com has free wallpapers and screensavers with images of a July 4 parade, our national flag with a dove, colorful fireworks display, the Statue of Liberty, and many others.
Appleblossomart.com gets a little cartoony with their free wallpapers and screensavers featuring one with Mickey Mouse, and Tweety Bird and Sylvester. They also have images of Uncle Sam and even a patriotic snowman.
Eaglestock.com patriotic screensavers can be downloaded for $9.95 or you can buy the CD for $14.99. They do provide three free screensavers and almost all screensavers include images of our national bird, the bald eagle.
Fabulousavers.com has free screensaver entitled the, "The Values of America", "USA: God Bless America", and "In God We Trust." Some slides include images of the U.S. flag and the Statue of Liberty.
Funutilities.com has free screensavers depicting our national monuments such as Mount Rushmore, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty. They also have one entitled, "God Bless America", which has a review rating of five stars.
Gofree.com provides free screensavers of American troops, the U.S. flag, the Statue of Liberty, and one with patriotic balloons.
Kate.net has numerous free images such as the U.S Flag and the Statute of Liberty to download for computer wallpaper. Some images include words such as "God Bless America", and "Liberty and Justice for All."
Northwestpages.com has only one free screensaver for downloading, but it is unique in that the images are displayed on a rotating cube. The images consist of the American flag, Statue of Liberty, Lincoln Memorial, and many others.
Saverpit.com has free wallpapers and screensavers of 9/11, exploding fireworks, and the U.S. flag. Slides in the 9/11 screensaver entitled, "Never Forget", includes images of the World Trade Center.
