10 New Year's Resolution Suggestions for Michael Richards Aka Kramer

Annie Camden
After an extreme racist tiradeMichael Richards is in desperate need of making some serious attitude altering changes and what better time then the start of a New Year. Here are 10 New Year's resolution suggestions that could keep Michael Richards at least out of the spotlight.

1. I will no longer do stand up. If you can't stand the heat - stay out of the kitchen or if you can't handle a few hecklers - stay out of the comedy clubs. Avoiding these situations could be Richard's best defense.

2. I will take some anger management classes. Being in the public spotlight, Richards can't be a loose cannon. This can not be the first time that Michael Richards has come into contact with a not so warm reception but it is quite evident that he did not know the best way to handle it. So some anger management classes would definitely be in his best interest in order to learn how to handle these situations in the future.

3. I will seek counseling. With as much pent up aggression that spewed out of Michael Richards's mouth, there has to be some deep rooted issues he needs to come to terms with. Counseling can be beneficial to most people and would certainly be helpful in a situation like Richards.

4. I will think before I speak. Now this is a tough one for someone like Richard's who obviously does not think before he speaks and might even not think at all.

5. I will donate a large sum of money to the American Civil Liberties Union. www.aclu.org Let's face it, Michael Richard's needs to spread some good will and needs to help organizations that are working on behalf of all people seeking equality.

6. I will hire an image consultant. At this point, I can not think of anyone who needs to work on their image any more than Michael Richards does at this moment. He can not erase what he did but he can hopefully move forward in a positive light.

7. I will apologize to the men that I specifically hurt at the comedy club. It's sad that this has not happened yet but apparently it hasn't. So Richard's needs to seriously apologize to the men he was rude to, the comedy club patrons, and the comedy club.

8. I will make a public, sincere apology to all African Americans and other minorities. This one might be another tough one for Michael Richard's in that I'm not sure how much sincerity can be mustered up from a man who said some of the things that he said. But hopefully he can reach down in his soul and find it in his heart to be sincere and truly apologize.

9. I will apologize to all Caucasians for being a disgrace to their race. This one might seem a bit curt, but really, as a Caucasian woman, I am embarrassed that in today's day and age that there can be this much hatred still in the world and that we move one step forward and two steps back.

10. I will apologize to my Seinfeld cast and fans. Seinfeld is known as being one of the best and longest running comedies on television. It truly is a legacy and now, unfortunately, that legacy is tainted. Richard's owes all his fans, his cast and crew the decency to realize that he is a public figure and needs to be held responsible for his actions.
