10 "New Years Resolutions" for Britney Spears

A K Larrabee
After getting married, giving birth to two sons in 2 years and now filing for divorce, Pop star Britney Spears could really use some help with choosing a few New Year's resolutions. I have decided to give some suggestions!

#1) Never Date a Man who has a Girlfriend or Wife- Especially a pregnant one!

Now this may be self- explanatory for many but for some it is not so let me tell you why it's a bad idea.

A)
The majority of men who cheat are looking for something that they are lacking at home, like sex.

B)
Most men that cheat do not plan on getting caught or breaking up their marriage or relationship (unless you have millions like Britney)

C)
The old saying says "Once a Cheater, Always a Cheater"- if this is true, what makes you think that he won't cheat on you?

D)
WHY would you want a man that leaves their pregnant wife or girlfriend????

#2) Never Date the Unemployed and Non-Ambitious

Its one thing to be unemployed and looking for a job but its a whole different thing to be unemployed and "sponging" off of others. You earned millions, don't waste it on a user when you have a "brain fart" for a few years. Wouldn't you rather donate that money to a good cause?

#3) Never date a guy that drinks Jack Daniels straight from the bottle

This shouts out "no class" to most people and you can end up "guilty by association". If he refuses to drink from a glass, ditch him! Even dogs drink out of bowls.

#4) Never Star in a Reality show with a "significant other"

After Chaotic, I hope that Britney learned her lesson but if not, look at the odds of splitting up following a reality show…Nick & Jessica, Shanna and Travis and you and Kevin.

#5) Never make a sex tape

Hopefully its only a rumor that Kevin has possession of one and is threatening to sell it. Learn from others mistakes and never let the record button light up in the heat of the moment. Just ask Paris!

#6) Take Advice from Your Mother and Your Manager

You know the old saying "Mother knows Best". Listen very closely to your mother's advice. Nobody loves you more and a mother is always looking out for your best interests. Your former manager saved you millions by insisting that you have an "iron clad pre-nup" when you married K-Fed so listen up when he has suggestions.

#7) Never go on National Television crying that you have a perfect relationship when you know it's far from it

Tell it like it is or don't say anything at all. When your in the spotlight, its hard to lie so don't bother cause it will all come out in the end.

#8) Always use a car seat

It's the law and it could save your child's life. We all make mistakes but next time could be tragic.

#9) Focus on your music

Now that you have rid yourself of the heavy, expensive baggage that you carried for two years, focus on getting your career back on track. You have the whole country supporting your choice to kick him to the curb so take advantage of the support.

#10) Focus on your Children

Last but certainly not least. Children come first so focus on them. Time flies and you will wake up and realize that you missed out on so much if you don't pay attention. Nannies are helpful but nothing can replace a mother's love. Don't let anyone or anything get in the way of your children.

Hopefully Britney will have a great year, now that she has come to her senses and kicked "K-Fed", now known as "Fed-X" to the curb. We can only sit back and watch as she tries to rebuild her career and raise her two children.

  • No Job and no ambition= no chance with Britney
  • Children come first
  • Stay away from "cheaters"
According to an estimate by Britney Spears' lawyers, her marriage to Kevin Federline has cost her between $20 million and $45 million!
