100% Free Music that is Legal: Radiotracker

So you want free music that's 100% free and legal, if you do and have a dsl or higher internet connection keep reading. Ok, so I was browsing through the internet looking for some kind of new application when I came across a program called radiotrack. At first I was like "oh it's just another online radio", until I started to read what it could do and to be honest I was very impressed.

This program is an online radio that has over a thousand online radio stations and plenty of genres to choose from. How this radio works is that you open it up and you stream your music just like normal except you have the option of recording it or as they call it "ripping it". Now the cool part of this is that you determine how it organizes your music either in one big folder or by individual folders for each artist, which can make finding music really simple and quick. While your listening to your music it's constantly ripping tracks and over time you can have a collection of music extremely fast in a short amount of time. All you do is chose the station you want to listen to, start ripping and your own personal collection of music can be yours for free.

Now your might be thinking to yourself "ok so what's the catch" then I say no catch the only thing you CAN (optional) pay for is the premium radiotracker which has a few added features, but you can use the free version and get unlimited music. My favorite way of getting a lot of the music is sampling the different radio stations to see if they play the music I like. When I find a station I enjoy, I leave radiotracker running all night and wake up to see which new songs I have, which is really exciting. My favorite concept about this radio is that it is free and legal. Now how many places or programs can you say have free and legal in the same sentence (it's either free and illegal, or pay and legal).

Now that I've pointed out it's strengths I have to tell you about a few setbacks. The first and unimportant is that it's about 33.5 mega bites (but since you have high speed internet it shouldn't be a problem).The last setback is the quality, although it's good enough, if you are like me it will take you a little bit of time to get adjusted to the small noises or radio host talking in between songs. There's a whole ton of features that I have barely scratched so just check it out yourself. I recommend this program to everyone and I say that anyone that loves to listen to music will without a doubt love this program.
