12 Creative Ways to Answer a Date

Has someone asked you out on a date, or to go to a dance with them? Do you want to answer him or her in a creative and thoughtful way? Here are some inexpensive and creative ways to answer someone who has asked you out.

Creative Date Answer #1: Raincheck. You can find umbrellas for very cheap at a discount store. If you must decline a date, leave an umbrella on the asker's doorstep with a note that says, "I can't make it Friday night but I'll take a raincheck!"

Creative Date Answer #2: Cookie. Order a Cookie by Design with your answer on it. Or you can bake your own and write a message on it in frosting.

Creative Date Answer #3: Jack-o-Lantern. For a fun fall answer to a date, carve your answer into a small pumpkin. Light it up with a tealight, leave it on your date's porch, ring the doorbell and run!

Creative Date Answer #4: Marble Cake. Mix up a marble cake mix, which can be bought for about a dollar at the grocery store. Poor the chocolate batter over the vanilla, spelling out your answer.

Creative Date Answer #5: Chewing Gum. Wrap up a pack of bubblegum to give to your date with a note that says, "I chews to go with you!"

Creative Date Answer #6: Easy. Pick up an Easy Button from Staples and leave it on your date's doorstep with a note that says, "That's an easy answer; Yes!"

Creative Date Answer #7: Shore Thing. Fill a toy bucket with sand, add some beach toys from the dollar store and maybe some sunglasses. Set it up for your date to see. Attach a sign that reads, "Shore I'll go!" to a stick, and stick it in the bucket of sand.

Creative Date Answer #8: Sure Thing. Another answer with a "sure" pun is with Sure deodorant. Buy a stick of Sure deodorant and give it to your date with a note saying, "It's a sure thing! Can't wait for Friday."

Creative Date Answer #9: It's Depends. Get a small package of Depends adult underpants at the grocery store. Slip a note inside with your answer and write on the package, "My answer depends on what's inside!" Your date will open the package to find the note with your answer.

Creative Date Answer #10: Candy Bar. Answer your date creatively with a candy bar. You can use a Big Hunk or Sweetarts, depending on your date's gender. Add a note that says, "I'd love to go with a Big Hunk/Sweetheart like you!"

Creative Date Answer #11: Dice. Buy a package of six-sided dice, usually around a dollar. Your note could read, "No matter how you dice it, the answer is yes!"

Creative Date Answer #12: Say Yes. Print up a card with your answer on it in many languages. Write it big print n the card, "No matter how you say it, the answer is yes!"
