12 Sexiest Women 2008

As with any list of this kind it is very subjective, some may say biased, but still fun and entertaining. In selecting the dozen sexiest women a variety of professional fields were examined. Models, singers, actresses and entertainers. Also eligible were other television personalities and women generally well known to the public. Primary criteria in making this list were physical beauty, including face and figure, as well as how the women carried themselves. For this reason you may be surprised at several notable names which do not appear on this list. It is interesting no models made the list. However, ten actresses did make the list, along with one singer and one television personality. Starting at number twelve, let's meet the dozen sexiest women of 2008.

Number 12 - Halle Berry (Actress) - Halle has had a very distinctive film career and was the first African-American woman to take home the Oscar for best performance by an actress in a leading role. Not only does Halle posses a body to die for, she has a face that can melt your heart. Halle wore the crown of Miss Ohio in 1987 and has starred in many films including the X-men movies, Gotika, Swordfish, and Monster's Ball.

Number 11 - Mariska Hagitay (Actress) - Known best for her role as a tough detective with the Special Victims Unit on Law and Order, Mariska has rugged good looks that make her a solid addition to the top dozen. The daughter of sex symbol Jayne Mansfield, Mariska is a past winner of both Golden Globe and Emmy awards. In 2008 she starred in The Love Guru.

Number 10 - Eva Mendes (Actress) - Eva starts out our top ten with her good looks and spicy personality. She has starred in a variety of roles including Hitch with Will Smith. It may come as some surprise that Eva was raised Roman Catholic and for a time planned to become a nun.

Number 9 - Faith Hill (Singer) - Faith is the hottest country singer of the day, perhaps of the decade. Her good looks, fine figure and down home country personality make her a charming addition to this list.

Number 8 - Catherine Zeta-Jones (Actress) - While slightly older than many of the other women on our list, Catherine has an elegant look to her. She also has one of the finest figures in Hollywood. She has starred in a number of films and has looked good in all of them.

Number 7 Charlize Theron (Actress) - A serious actress, Charlize is also one fine looking young lady. She takes on tough roles and likes a challenge but is not above a fun film such as the Italian Job. While she will not be called voluptuous, Charlize will have no trouble turning heads.

Number 6 Diane Kruger (Actress) - Probably best known for her roles in the National Treasure movies, Diane is picks up a spot in the upper half of the list with her solid good looks.

Number 5 Kari Byron (Personality) - Kari is the foxy star of Mythbusters as she blows things up, sets stuff on fire, and in general raises all kinds of hell. She is also a fine beauty with a figure to match. She is almost certainly the only member of our dozen who can weld and use a cutting torch. Hot stuff.

Number 4 Megan Fox (Actress) - At just 21 Megan is the youngest to make our list, but one of the hottest. Known for her role in the Transformer movie, Megan was recently names the sexiest woman alive by FHM. She didn't quite reach number one here, but she was a solid candidate for that position.

Number 3 Jennifer Aniston (Actress) - A few years ago this former star of Friends made a lost of sexiest list. I suppose she is yesterdays news to some, but her looks have not diminished and she remains one of the sexiest women in Hollywood, or anywhere else for that matter.

Number 2 Natalie Portman (Actress) - The star of three Star Wars movies Natalie came on the scene quickly and has remained firmly in place with her charming good looks and petite figure. She has played a queen as well as a stripper and has looked good in each role.

Number 1 Jessicia Biel (Actress) - This one time star of Seventh Heaven has now moved on to films and has blossomed as the sexiest women of the year. Her well toned body, charming smile, and classical good looks make her an easy choice for the number one spot. If you need proof, just check her out in I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry. There you have it the sexiest dozen women of 2008. A wide variety of looks, sizes and styles but all beautiful and all sexy.
