When vacationing on Maui eat at Tommy Bahama's Restaurant & Bar.
Located at The Shops at Wailea, Tommy Bahama's offers a wonderful and creative menu. Entrees include several seafood selections including Trinidad Tuna, a Lemongrass encrusted Hawaiian Ahi that is seared rare. Other entres include Sanibel Stuffed Chicken, The Island Cowboy (an 8 ounce grilled tenderloin filet), and Little Palm Island Pasta. These savory dishes are sure to delight the taste buds.

When vacationing on Maui eat at Nick's Fishmarket.
Nick's Fishmarket is located inside the Fairmont Kea Lani situated just down the street from the Grand Wailea. Nick's is known for their amazing seafood dishes. Entrees include Island Snapper Picatta, Grilled Ahi Mignon and Candied Peanut Crusted Hawaiian Opah to name just a few. Opt to dine outside to take in the gorgeous view as you delve into Nick's delicious culinary adventures.

When vacationing on Maui do some shopping at The Shops at Wailea.
This fantastic shopping destination offers luxurious boutiques such as Gucci, St. John Boutique and Louis Vuitton. But don't let the high end retailers scare you away. There are lots of island style shops for every budget. During summer months there is live entertainment including ukulele renditions of rock songs, hula dancers and contemporary Hawaiian music situated throughout the open-air mall.

When vacationing on Maui head to the Maui Ocean Center.
This state-of-the-art aquarium spotlights Hawaii's marine life by presenting amazing exhibits and interactive displays. For an even more unique experience, why not do a shark dive? For $199, you can explore the 750,000-gallon acrylic tunnel and become "immersed in Hawaii's rich underwater world with over 20 sharks, stingrays, and thousands of tropical reef fish." When vacationing on Maui experience a luau.
For an authentic Hawaiian luau, The Old Lahaina Luau can't be beat. The luau is offered seven nights a week and seats 400 people but The Old Lahaina Luau books up fast so make your reservations before you leave home. Adult prices are $92 and children 12 and under are $62.

    Cheri, I didn't see the JFK rock but now I have a reason to go back!!! I just loved the beauty and serenity of Wailea. How wonderful to have lived in such an incredible place. One of my favorite vacations.
