Bustling New York City is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. With so many hotel choices, places to eat and things to do, how will you ever decide? We've done all the leg work for you. We give you a game plan for a wonderful weekend in New York City. One hotel, two dining choices and three activities.

STAY
When in New York stay at the Library Hotel New York.
The Library Hotel New York is a wonderful boutique hotel surrounded by many of the city's favorite attractions and landmark. The quaint Library Hotel has a welcoming ambiance with impeccable service. Your stay will be one of the best travel experiences you've ever had. Guest will be treated to amenities such as: flat panel television; down blankets; Egyptian cotton linens; Thymes Azur toiletries; and complimentary European-style breakfast buffet. The hotel offers many specials and packages suitable for the ideal getaway.

EAT
When in New York eat at the Shake Shack.
If you're craving a really good burger (and we mean really, really good), you must go to the Shake Shack. The ShackBurger is made from the freshest ingredients, ground and hand-formed daily. This burger is complemented by a potato bun, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes and American cheese. This is the best burger you will find in New York City.

Another location is at Citi Field (home of the New York Mets). Two locations opening soon will be in the Theater District as well as the Upper East Side.

When in New York eat at Serendipty 3.
Sure you've seen the restaurant in the movie Serendipity but this place is a New York landmark. Serendipity was founded in the 1950s and is well known for their amazing desserts, especially the Frozen Hot Chocolate (my personal favorite). The place gets super crowded (waits can be up to two hours), so try to go during non-peak times (avoid at all costs during the holidays). But, believe me, the wait is worth it. Enjoy the people watching while you're there. Serendipity 3 has a fairly extensive menu but definitely leave room for dessert.

DO
When in New York book an Accomplice experience.
"Part game, part theater, and part tour." See New York City like never before. Accomplice productions takes you on a scavenger-type experience of New York City. You'll get tidbits of information and clues that take you to various parts of the city. Along the way, you'll meet cast members that enhance the experience, locations that you'd never visit, and a one-of-a-kind adventure. Ticket price is $65. For more information, go here.

When in New York go on a Food on Foot Tour.
When you travel, do you love trying the cuisine of the different cities you visit? Then this is the perfect tour for you. Food on Foot Tours takes you to various locations throughout the city to experience the neighborhoods and the food you'll find there. Food on Foot Tours offers these options: Food for Fans Baseball and Stadium tours; New York's Waterfront Villages; International Express; NY over Noodles; World Famous Sweet Tooth Tour; Midtown Mix; and East Village Variety. Ticket prices start at $49 (watch for specials that drop the price to $35).
