# 13 The People Mover
The People Mover was a tram like attraction that released in the mid 1960's. This attraction gave you a tour through the outside rides in Tomorrow Land. This attraction was replaced with another attraction called "Rocket Rods" that is also no longer at Disneyland. There has been rumors that a updated version of the People Mover may come back into Disneyland.
# 12 The flying saucers
The flying saucers attraction use to be located in Tomorrow land of Disneyland was also released in the mid 1960's. This attraction was very short lived at only lasted for about 5 years. This Flying Saucers attraction had a flyer saucer vehicle that was powered with blasts of air. Due to lots of breakdowns and expensive costs to maintain the attraction, it was closed down and now no longer available at Disneyland.
# 11 The stage coaches (Lawsuits)
The stage coaches were your old school stage coaches that were pulled by horses. This attraction was located in Frontier Land. Due to design issues, and other safety reasons, this attraction is no longer available. However, Disneyland still offers other attractions that are still Horse Drawn.
# 10 Mission to mars
Mission to mars was one of the first attractions that opened with Disneyland. It was originally called Flight to the Moon, but then changed to "Mission to Mars". The attraction lost sponsorship, and then closed.
# 9 Adventure thru inner space
This attraction also opened in the mid 1960's and was located in Tomorrow Land. It lasted for more than 10 years but then was closed to be replaced by a popular attraction that is still in Disneyland which is "Star Tours".
# 8 Rocket Rods
Rocket Rods was an attraction that replaced the "People Mover" Attraction in Disneyland. This attraction used the "People Mover's" track. The Rocket Rods were suppose to move very quickly, but due to mechanical issued the ride closed after 6 weeks.
# 7 Country bear Jamboree
Country Bear Jamboree was located at the far end of critter country. It was an audio-animatronics attraction show that featured singing bears. Due to low attendance Disneyland replaced the attraction with the "Winnie the Pooh" attraction. You can still see some of the original Country Bear Jamboree characters hidden near "Winnie the Pooh Attraction".
# 6 The Original Submarine Voyage
The Original Submarine Voyage attraction was opened towards the late 1950's at Disneyland. Its theme was after the movie 10 Thousand Leagues under the Sea. This attraction has submarine boats that take you under a water tank and showed different themed parts from the 10 Thousand Leagues under the Sea movie. Disneyland recently has re-designed the Submarine attraction and have refurbished the boats and re-themed this attraction by using "Finding Nemo".
# 5 Circle Vision 360
Circle Vision was a show attraction that used 9 screens used in a circle, and CGI effects. This attraction showed different films throughout its running. The Circle Vision show area was then turned into the waiting area for the older Rocket Rods attraction. The attraction area is now replaced with the "Buzz Light Year" attraction.
# 4 Captain E-O (Michael Jackson 3-d film) replaced by Honey I shrunk the Audience
Captain E-O was a 3-D film attraction that starred Michael Jackson. This attraction was then replaced with the popular "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" 3-D Film.
# 3 America Sings
America Sings was also an Audio-Animatronic attraction that had singing animals that sang different Songs. Due to certain reasons, Disneyland closed the attraction and moved the figures to "splash mountain", and two of them were placed in "Star Tours'.
# 2 TomSawyersIsland (Now known as Pirates Lair)
Tom Sawyers Island was known as a great place for kids to place at. This Attraction was not taken out, but was re-designed and is not known as "Pirates Lair".
# 1 Mule Ride
The Mule Attraction was opened when Disneyland first opened. It used real live mules that rode through a western landscape. They were expensive to run, and caused some lawsuits. Due to safety reason, this attraction got closed down.
So if you ever wanted to know what some of the first or earlier attractions were at Disneyland these 13 attractions used to be available, and will forever be incorporated into its history.
