While alone in the woods, Nasser heard from the Mastermind that accusing someone as the Killer would only work if everyone agreed. If they were wrong then consequences would be faced, Nasser didn't care though since he called everyone outside and told them Laura was the killer. They all agreed, singling Laura out as the killer and the Mastermind revealed, over the loudspeaker, that Nasser was wrong. Since he "took matters into his own hands" and was incorrect, Nasser was placed into the execution ceremony and had a chance to leave. We then heard from the killer who was shrouded in shadows and their voice was hidden. It's kind of cool that they are keeping the Killer secret to the viewers as we now can play along.
That night it was time for the phone to ring again and that means fun for us and well.... hell for the players. It was time for their next ritual and it was once again time to divide into pairs. Nasser and one other player would remain at the cabin, since Nasser was already into the execution. The mastermind said to go to the waters edge and it freaked out a few people, especially Steffinie since she can't swim. Partners were Ryan/Melissa, Rodney/Ted, Steffinie/Leah, Laura/Adam and Kelly/Cody. At the water everyone had to put on life vests and the minions took over. When on boats the players could then remove their blindfolds. The pairs were all sitting in individual boats in the middle of a swamp with not clue what to do next.
There was a box in the middle of each boat, freaking Leah out since well... she must be scared of boxes too. The Mastermind then told the players that the box held a flag in each boat. The first team to raise their flag and return to shore would be sent to the execution ceremony, showing that fear got the best of them. The box also contained something that Steffinie actually hated: snakes. They also had to pull out plugs in their boat, meaning they would be sinking as well. Steffinie has a fear of both, meaning they'd most likely lose. Leah was actually the least scared this time around and actually pulled the bucket out from the snakes. Steffinie's screaming could be heard all the way back at the cabin. There Nasser and Erica looked to see who held the Death Box while someone lurked outside.
Back in the lake people were bailing out their boats as they began to sank. The snakes added to the fear as they began to crawl out of the box. One person from the boat then had to grab two of the snakes and place it over their head, not sure why but it sure made them all panic. Laura ended up throwing the snakes into the water and waving her flag, sending her and Adam to the shore and putting them both into the execution ceremony. Others could be heard celebrating, especially Steffinie considering this was the worst of everything for her. Nasser and Erica were still at the cabin but were startled when the cast returned. They seemed to be more surprised that Leah and Steffinie didn't lose though.
Adam and Laura were both going to the execution ceremony, along with Nasser. Laura was a bit upset about forcing Adam into possibly elimination yet had doubt in herself. The next morning Erica and Steffinie were the new targets for the killer since they go to the bathroom alone. Ted targeted Erica the most and said it had to be on the DL, yet he just said it to everyone.... yeah. Erica then returned with her thinking that Ted had the Death Box. They then began to quarrel about which one of the two had the box since he wouldn't directly tell her he thought she had the box. Kelly and Laura then went for a walk as Laura freaked out about the Execution ceremony. She was expecting the worst and talked to Kelly in hopes of getting an edge as she is really the only one to have encountered the ceremony so far.
While waiting for their execution both Adam and Laura had a moment. The two became close friends and it kind of sucks that one of them will probably end up going home. When night fell it was time for the execution ceremony to begin. Laura, Adam and Nasser were sent into the woods to find a shipping container and time for one of them to go home. Inside the shipping crate it was time for the execution ceremony to begin. There were shackles in the room so it was time to get all chained up. There as cage around their head... with rats in it. They had to unscrew the chains and find a way to remove the lock around them. The last person left would have their face attacked by the rats... obviously making a perfect SAW moment and freaking all three out. Laura complained the most throughout the task while Nasser and Adam remained calm. Nasser and Adam removed their head cages first with Nasser completing removing himself first. Although Laura begged for Adam to help he did not as the Mastermind told him to leave. Laura screamed his name as he ran back, meaning her face was "attacked the rats" which seems somewhat fake considering we never saw it happen. None were really surprised when Adam and Nasser returned except for Kelly, who felt Laura became her good friend.
13: Fear is Real is turning out to be a great new show. It may not be the most original or really groundbreaking but hey, its fun and allows us to play along. Can't wait until the next episode, how about you?
