What does the Bible say about our temper? The Bible warns us not to be hot-tempered. As believers we must do our best to be humble and patient. When we're involved in a conflict situation it is essential that we take the time to calm down and control our anger. You may have to step back and return to the situation later. As believers we are called to forgive and communicate the truth in love. The following Bible verses provide a biblical concept of our temper. Proverbs 17:27
A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered.

Proverbs 14:29
A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

Judges 18:25
The Danites answered, "Don't argue with us, or some hot-tempered men will attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives."

Proverbs 22:24
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered,

    Though nice reading, the text offered by this site is foolishness. There is a time and place for everything. I'm tired of people trampling me, I just went back to being a mean son-of-a-bitch.
