Hot Springs, AR-The Spa City Blues Society of Hot Springs, Arkansas is looking for artists, designers, makers, and crafters who are interested in creating and selling their own original pieces of art during the 15th Annual Hot Springs Blues Festival on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3. Preferably music-related, all merchandise must be the artists' own original designs (including but not limited to clothing, paintings, jewelry, pottery, hand-woven items, and hand-made musical instruments). A maximum of 8 artists will be accepted for the Society's first-ever Artists' Alley, with applications being processed in the order received. To be considered, applications must be received no later than August 21, 2011.
Artists must supply their own tables, chairs, umbrellas, extension cords, lights, and other items which must fit an approximate 4' x 8' space. All artists must be prepared for their individual booths to be kept open from 5p.m.-9p.m. on Friday and from 3p.m.-9p.m. on Saturday.
All artists are responsible for their own sales and for collecting/reporting of sales taxes, with 10% of gross receipts being paid directly to the Spa City Blues Society.
