Those qualities are truly conversion in Christ, God Bless
I agree with you on this but unfortunately some who have accepted Christ as their Savior have not fully surrendered to Him as the Lord of their lives. God will work in their lives to bring them to a closer walk if they are truly saved in the first place. We have all the spirit of God upon conversion but does he have all of us? Unfortunately, some Christians take a little longer to totally submit their will to God, however, God will make life very uncomfortable for them until they do. I have seen this in the lives of those around me. Good Article!
You are so right Shaila. I have a friend that never goes to church, swears, watches evil movies with sex and violence and he says he is saved, but as with your reason number one, there is NO fruit. I worry that someday he will see the Lord when He returns and that Jesus will say to him, "Depart from me, I never knew you." Very scary indeed. Thank you for writing this. Well done.
Amen. You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears. Scripture says that if any man says he has no sin, he is a lier, yet if any man walks in a course contrary to the ways of God he is without the Spirit of God. You provide us with an honest, self-checkup, my sister in Christ. Carry on.
