Healthy eating is all the rage today. Jump on the bandwagon and start living a healthier lifestyle by adding healthy foods to your diet each day! It's really not hard to do with the suggestions below. Before you know it you'll be craving a cinnamon flavored apple instead of potato chips!
Eat apples sprinkled with cinnamon instead of chips.
Celery and Carrots make a great morning snack.
Cook a vegetable with every dinner meal.
Want something cold? Eat frozen yogurt instead of ice cream.
Eat granola bars in the afternoon for a boost of energy and a quick snack.
Have a salad with dinner every night. Eat it before your meal and you won't have quite as many fries.
Grab a fresh pear or a bowl full of grapes for your rushed morning breakfast in the car instead of a pop tart.
Serve apple crisp made with honey instead of cake for dessert.
Smear peanut butter on cinnamon graham crackers for a quick snack.
Apples dipped in peanut butter make a great afternoon snack.
If you are in a rush, grab a banana on your way out the door.
Cherry tomatoes are great to just pop in your mouth and go.
Nuts and Seeds are easy to take anywhere!
Dried Fruit is also easy to take along and it's great for you too!
Choose a raw cut up potato for a crunchy craving instead of pretzels and chips.
Keep sliced and chopped vegetables and fruits handy all the time. Whenever you are hungry or just need a quick snack, you won't be quite as tempted to go for junk food if healthy food is already prepared!
Don't reach for a candy bar when you need a sweet snack! Have some strawberries or kiwi instead.
If you really need some extra sweetness on your fruit, drizzle some honey over the top.
Eating healthy doesn't have to be difficult and it really doesn't have to taste bad either! Choose real whole organic foods and you will be feeling healthier in no time! Pick fruits and vegetables over potato chips and pretzels. Choose whole grain flours instead of bleached white flours.
