For a long time, Muscatine has been led by pretty much the same people, but now a new candidate has joined the race. Eighteen-year-old Ryan Kopf, business administration student at Muscatine Community College and lifelong resident, has decided to run for Mayor of Muscatine in this coming election.
"I believe that I have so many new ideas and thorough plans to improve Muscatine, I would be a great candidate in this race," Ryan said. "I want us to spend more money on education, drug-prevention, and keeping Muscatine clean."
According to his website, www.ryankopf.com, Ryan wants to spend less money on government administration, and give more to police, education, and making Muscatine look great. Ryan Kopf will begin his campaign at a personal level. He plans on passing out buttons, forming discussion groups, and talking with the general public about ways to improve Muscatine. Future information will be available at Kopf's campaign website, www.ryankopf.com.

Post a CommentRyan, that is so cool to hear you're running! I read your website and if I lived in Iowa, you'd have my vote. Be sure to post an update and let us know when you win :)
Yes, it has. I am definitely not the first, although I would like to have been. I think there have been about 4 similarly young people before me, but I'm unsure if they were all 18.
