The first paragraph should also include an explanation that this letter serves as an official invitation to your rent party. Designate a section near the bottom of this letter for invited guests to sign their RSVP and an optional space where donation amounts can be listed. Leave instructions on this eviction notice for guests to bring their invitations with them to your party. These documents will serve at their official entry pass into your rent party. Add photos or clip-art that depict angry landlords, lease agreements, eviction or for rent signs of you prefer to decorate these invitations.
Brick Wall Apartment Invitation
Draw a house or apartment building with brick walls, an old door and four large square windows on a piece of construction paper. Write your party information inside each window on this building. Make photocopies of your drawing at a local library to keep costs down. Label the front door with a different name of each guest invited to your rent party. Listing RSVP information on each invitation will help to get an estimate of how many people plan to attend the rent party.
Cardboard Homeless Signs Invitation
Tear several pieces of cardboard equal to the number of guests that are being invited to this event. Old shipping boxes and packing materials can be used to save money on party expenses. Write the date, time and location of your rent party on one side of these cardboard pieces using a black Sharpie brand marker. Locate photos of the homeless and attach them to the opposite side your cardboard invitations using school glue or tape. The photos or clip-art should be positioned on one side of the cardboard to leave room for more text. Write a catchy poem, riddle or description of why it is important for guests to attend your rent party.
Harlem Postcards
Send postcards that feature photos or illustrations from the Harlem Renaissance when inviting guests to your party. Add all relevant information related to the rent party on these Harlem postcards along with an interesting fact or trivia question for guests to answer. Allow guests to RSVP via telephone confirmations instead of requiring them to bring their invitations. Let everyone invited to your party know that they can keep these postcards as a collectors item. The postcards can be added to photo albums or scrapbooks if you have purchased them from reputable stores.
