And partygoers would enjoy a flashback of their attire from the days of ultra short skirts and thigh high boots. And we cannot forget about the platform shoes that both the men and the women wore during that era. Who does not like a goody bag? A 1970s themed party would not be a party without an awesome goody bag. It can be filled with miniature 8 track tapes found at a novelty store, an afro pick with a fist on the end, for those who wore afros in the 1970s, or a 45 record of your favorite songs from an old record store. (Records are those large round wax discs that when played on a record player made music. A much older version of a CD.) A personalized goody bag would also be cool with pictures of your friends from that era in a frame, or even their favorite song from that era on a 45 record.
