The Detroit Tigers home World Series tickets were labeled A, B, and C. The first two games were played in San Diego, so ticket A for the Tigers is the third game in the series. This ticket (see scan) is in good overall condition with no creases. Creases and bends are often found on tickets due to fans in attendance sticking the tickets in their pockets or folding to place in a wallet. The ticket has a staple print in the top of the ticket from most likely being displayed somewhere or possibly in an album. The back of the ticket is in good condition as well.
The ticket may hold a little extra significance to a Tigers fan as it was the first game of this series played in Detroit, but overall the third game of a series bares no importance unless the events that unfolded in the game were significant. There were no hall of famers that had an unbelievable performance or rare occurrences in this contest.
Appraisal: $25-30
The ticket is a good one but the series in general lacked close games and was a lack luster series despite several all stars on both teams.
