The 1st Annual Kitsap Oktoberfest is being held to benefit the Central Kitsap Food Bank, which has supported the Central Kitsap community since 1989.
The details
When: Saturday, September 25th, 2010, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Kitsap Mall North Parking Lot (across from Kohls)
What: Food, music, carnival, fun, and beer!
Why: To support and benefit Central Kitsap Food Bank
Admission & parking: FREE! Bring a canned good or boxed food donation.
Sponsored by: Kitsap Mall, SYSCO Food Services, Silverdale Chamber of Commerce, Kitsap Peninsula Convention and Visitors' Bureau, and more!
There will be activities for everyone to enjoy-beer stein races, bratwurst eating contests, and a "best dressed o'fest" awards. For the kids, there will be a carnival with a bouncy house, clowns, magicians, and more!
The music

The breweries
An Oktoberfest celebration would not be complete without beer!
Many of the local Kitsap County breweries, and wine and cider makers will be participating in this year's premiere event-Silver City Brewery, Hale's Ales, Hood Canal Brewery, Port Townsend Brewery, Grove Street Brewhouse, Der Blokken Brewery, ValHoll Brewing, Wildfire Cider, and Hoodsport Winery.
So, put on a pair of your favorite lederhosen, bring your family down, and spend some time enjoying good food, great brews, and lots of fun, as we support our community at the 1st Annual Kitsap Oktoberfest!
