Get a clip art picture or photo your chosen birthday party theme character or item for free online. You can find all the pictures you need on a site like Clker.com or SXC.hu. Create an 8 1/2 by 11 inch document on your home computer in your photo processing software. Divide the document in half, then place the picture on the right side. Create a second document with the same dimensions, and place the birthday party information such as the date, time, place and RSVP information on the right side of that document. Print the invitation on both sides of a piece of light-colored card stock.
