2 Corinthians 5:17, The First Scripture I Remember
When I was younger I was exposed to scripture. The first and most powerful verse that I remember continues to give me comfort today.
2 Corinthians 5:17: 'Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old one has gone, the new one has come!'
It is a simple and perfect gift. If you are in Christ your old life passes and you become a new creation.
There is nothing more powerful written in any language than this basic truthful sentence.
I refer back to this truth as often as I need reminded.
Use this time wisely.
Witness every opportunity. You need not be a biblical scholar to bring eternal life to another human being.
All you need is to be in Christ.
Christ will do the rest.
May all of you live your life with love around you.
