Wentworth Mansion

Located in Historic Downtown Charleston, the pet-friendly Wentworth Mansion is a grand example of a bygone era. This well-appointed inn is considered one of the finest five diamond luxury hotels in the world. The Wentworth Mansion is a treat for you and your dog.

Originally built for a private residence by a cotton merchant in the 1800s, the mansion was restored into a historic hotel in 1998. With original Tiffany stained-glass windows, detailed woodwork and a secluded garden, this dog-friendly historic hotel exudes elegance.

In true Charleston tradition, this historic Charleston inn offers breakfast, daily newspapers, afternoon happy hour with hors d'oeuvres, complimentary port or brandy and a charming staff.

The Wentworth Mansion allows dogs of all sizes. A fee of $25 per night does apply. Call the hotel directly to secure a room; there are a limited number of dog-friendly accommodations available.

Kings Courtyard Inn

One of Charleston's most historic Bed and Breakfast inns, the King's Courtyard is a hidden garden retreat in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina. As one of the oldest buildings on King Street, Kings Courtyard Inn has remained consistent with the architectural and historic accuracy that Charleston is known for. The structure was originally designed by Architect Francis D. Lee in 1853.

Demonstrating true Southern hospitality, Kings Courtyard Inn offers the following: complimentary sherry on arrival, evening wine and cheese receptions, a continental breakfast (or the opportunity to order a full breakfast from the kitchen) and a morning newspaper delivered to each room daily.

If traveling with your dog, reservations must be made in advance by calling the hotel directly. There is limited number of pet-friendly accommodations. A fee of $25 per night does apply.
