While there are a lot of eco-friendly fashion designers on the market today, there are two who are really popular: Jae Basilio and Masako Oka. Both of these designers offer more than just clothes for your wardrobe. They also have shoes and accessories available too.

Jae Basilio

Jae Basilio's fashion line offers sustainable fabrics and cute styles. In fact, one of the most eco-friendly fabrics on the market today is her royal blue Janelle dress, which is a tube dress that is great for a cocktail party or wedding. It is made out of 100% bamboo. Another hot style that this label offers is the Cameron dress, which is a black dress that looks like the one that Cameron Diaz wore in the movie, "The Holiday." It is made out of 100% cashmere, which is very thin so that it is both comfortable and cool to wear in the summer. This line also offers a yellow Cynthia Tank that is a fitted, yellow, spaghettis strap dress; a black Janet wrap, which is a very short wrap dress with a faded bottom and some gorgeous crochet detailing on the sleeves.

Regardless of what type of eco-friendly fashion you are after, Jae Basilio really does have something for everyone. These pieces are not only eco-friendly but they are also quite stylish too.

Masako Oka

Masako Oka is another great, eco-friendly fashion designer who was born and raised in Nagano, Japan. She graduated from Sugino Dress Maker Women's College and as soon as she arrived on the scene, people recognized that she was the next big thing in eco-friendly fashion. Not only is she a fashion designer though, she is also a widely acclaimed color analyst. This adds something great to her clothing line.

Over the past 13 years Masako Oka has organized numerous eco-friendly fashion shows, many of which she has also participated in. Ten in 2003 she finally introduced her own line which is known as ECOMACO. This fashion line promises to provide clothing and accessories that are not only biodegradable but that also ensure the curbing of CO2. Most of the time Masako Oka also uses a type of thread that is made out of fermented corn syrup.

Conclusion

These are just two examples of the many different eco-friendly fashion lines that exist today. Clearly you can see that there is definitely something available for everyone though. So, regardless of your budget or the fashion statement that you desire to make, you really should check these eco-friendly fashion lines for yourself.
