There are many herbs that can cause positive changes in your body and your health situation. One of the best ways to experience the benefits of all of these herbs is to make a tea combining both herbs that you can drink on a regular basis. Here's how:

Make a large pitcher or two of hot tea combining your desired tea blend. You can use about 5 tea bags of each herb for each pitcher; or you could use 1/4 cup each of the loose herbs tied in a homeade teabag made with cheesecloth. They carry cheesecloth in health food stores. Be sure not to boil the water with the herbs inside. This makes the herbal infusion too strong for you to drink. This is not reccomended.

Boil the water. Then let the herbs steap in the water. Sweeten it if desired. I prefer to use agave. Refrigerate it and drink it cool throughout the week or pour into a tea cup and pop into the microwave. Enjoy, hot herbal tea all week without the hassle.

Now the next question is discovering the best herbs to use.

Dandelion:
Dandelion is one of the best herbs to take on a regular basis. It is highly beneficial to the liver. The liver is like a factory that uses chemicals as its employees. These chemicals break down food and turn it into fuel for the body to use. The dandelion helps to improve the liver in this function. The strengthened liver is then better able to break down all of the unhealthy things we consume in our daily lives such as food additives, preservatives, insecticides and sprays and contaminants present in frozen, precooked or preprocessed foods.

Dandelion contains Vitamin A, B, D, D-2, calcium, iron and choline (which helps with cholesterol distribution). The leaves support the liver, gall bladder and production of bile. The green part of the plant contains the B vitamin supported by Magnesium and Sodium salts. These in turn help nerve function and aid to body flexibility and fluid circulation. It also contains silica which is very useful in driving infection out of the kidneys, the skin and the bowels.

Chamomile:
Chamomile is an excellent herb. It is great for soothing the stomach and relaxing the nerves. It contains calcium, magnesium and potassium. These are all vitamins essential in calming the varied nerve centers of the human body. One of the main uses is for calming of the vagus nerve which controls the respiratory and digestive system. It also relaxes the muscular system around the head for helping with overactive thought and stress.
