2 Reasons Not to Sell MLM Products

Economy.

No matter where you turn today you see this word. Normally it's not in a favorable light. That's why multilevel marketing has become so popular in today's world. People have come to understand that they can no longer count on surviving from corporate America's retirement proceeds. Therefore, they are looking for other options of which MLM business opportunities are an obviously easy one.

There are however reasons to avoid trying to sell MLM products, two of which I would like to expose in this article.

*** Single Niche Systems ***

At first glance this looks like a really good idea.

Simply put you focus upon a single entity and spread the word of its excitement across the universe, or at least to your friends and family if following the old boring ways of network marketing.

Given that you are only talking about a single idea its easier for you to understand and your audience is better able to relate to your message as well. Hit the right niche and this could be a good idea. However, if you keep reading you'll discover why this idea just doesn't make a great deal of sense.

*** Multiple Item Product Catalogs ***

Some companies feature an entire catalog to see all their products. This may seem like a good idea to some, but for me keeping track of a variety of products that keep changing to "meet" current needs is less than what I would define as fun.

In my opinion, to effectively work with this type of system would require no less than a PhD. Further, just when you think you have all the answers they end up changing all the questions. I have two words for that, "no thanks."

*** What Makes The Difference ***

Well, at least for me it is the two-niche single product system. Unfortunately there are not a lot of these types of systems available today.

First, they avoid the catalog idea altogether. Yeah.

Second, they capitalize upon the single niche systems. For example, here are five niche topics.

* Health

* Chocolate

* Economics

* Gas Additive

* Vitamins

Two become a two-niche system; you choose any two niches and develop products around them. With the company I am part of the two options are health and chocolate (delicious chocolate, I might add.)

By merging two niches together into one item you have a surefire winning product, which will appeal to the vast majority of people. For the record, the proof of the pudding for me is the fact that I have tried to sell MLM products for years yet I've never experience the type of success that I am seeing from this company in so short a time period.
