2 Short Poems About the Earth

Untitled Poems

Listen,
can you hear
The Earth
singing?

Such a wonderful
beautiful
awesome
sound.

A sound
you can't hear
with your
human ears.

It is a sound
that you
need to listen to
with your heart.

[Poetry Notebook: 3/5/1992]

Hear me my children
open up your ears
Listen to what I'm about to say
Our precious Earth is dying
and it's time to take some action

We need more of this sort of material on AC. Too many people seem more interested in reality TV. Sad.

Way passed time for action unfortunately. I saw a discovery channel doc on the oceans and pollution within them. The biggest shock was in finding out well over half the beach sand in many areas across the globe is actually plastic returned to its original pellet form by the salt water. Scarey, great poems here.
