Valentine's Day Kitchen Cabinet Hardware Idea #1: Gross Grain Ribbon

To get started on this idea you will need some hot glue as well as some gross grain ribbon in red or pink.

Add one dot of hot glue to the end of your kitchen drawer handle. Press t end of the gross grain ribbon into the dot and start wrapping the whole thing. Wrap the handle until it is complete covered in the ribbon and then cut off the extra. Hold in place this another dot of glue at the end.

This one s easiest to do if you first unscrew the handles form the kitchen cabinets and drawers first. The hot glue is easy to pop off when you are finished with the holiday. You can even reuse the ribbon for another craft.

Valentine's Day Kitchen Cabinet Hardware Idea #2: Add Paper

This is a fun way to add a look to any style of kitchen cabinet hardware for Valentine's Day. Simply cut out hearts from card stick, scrap paper, or any paper you have laying around the house. Now, punch holes in thru hearts to coincide with the screws on your kitchen cabinet hardware.

Now, laminate each heart at the local copy store. Cut the Valentine's Day hearts out. Unscrew your cabinet hardware, line the hearts up over the holes, and reinstall your kitchen cabinet hardware back on top.

You can also use inexpensive wrapping paper ribbon for this look as well. Since it is plastic it will stain less than the gross grain ribbon too.

The laminate material will keep the paper clean and shiny!

This is a fun way for the kids to create mini works of art as well! You can also use picture of the family members cut out into he shapes of hearts as well. Be sure to laminate them as well so they can be used year after year.

Also, consider where the face is on the photo, so the hardware does not block the face on the photo.

Use pinking sheers to cut the edges for more detail and fun with this one!
