20 Places You Can Go to for a Babymoon in Chicago

A babymoon is loosely defined as a place married couples can go prior to having a baby. For most that babymoon is before the first child comes into the picture. It's not so much a last getaway, but perhaps a last getaway before we become full-fledged parents... and before our lives become completely different (even more so than they did before we got married).

There's no time restriction on how long babymoons can last, but I would recommend you get it in before the third trimester kicks in, unless you're going somewhere close by and can drive there. Even in that scenario, I'd say get it in before 32 weeks passes by. After that, the woman may not be in much of a condition for being on her feet for long periods of time, doing extensive traveling, and especially not anything romantic. Husbands, if you haven't noticed already, your wife may be one of those who aren't feeling very sexual during the pregnancy. The later in the pregnancy you're at, the more likely this will be the case. Guys, we can't begin to imagine the physical ramifications of having a life inside of us. We can't do it; we weren't made to handle that... so thank God for women!

Now... places to go in Chicago. The places I'm recommending can be for overnight stays or weekend getaways. If you're planning on a week or later I'd even recommend flying out of town if you're at a stage in the pregnancy where you can do that.
