It's okay, I admit that I am stuck in the '80s too. I decided long ago that as long as I stay stuck in the '80s, I don't have to grow up! So now I'm going to go listen to some "Culture Club" on my boom box!

Post a CommentMax Hedron is who Carrie was thinking of.. loved him/ sometimes my house phone screws up and makes people sound like max. Love the article Stacy, I am too stuck there!
Love this! I sadly am stuck in the 80's and now that I'm too fat to wear them skinny jeans are back in style!
I love this! I am definitely stuck in the 80's!! Papa Smurf, Grumpy Smurf, Happy Smurf, Tinker Smurf.... LOL
Stacy, I love this article! I'm a child of the 60's, but having taught high school seniors during the 80s, 90s and 2000s, I remember most of this. I'm thinking Madonna, Boy George, Abba, The Big Chill, Max something or other, Molly Ringwald. . . but I'm seeing my students who graduated then.
With me, it was the Beatles, The Graduate, Herman's Hermits. The best of times.
I, too, was raising a family in the 80's. My "memories" go back much further (my "Priceless Treasurers" says some of it). Great piece.
lol... I do know all the words to "The Facts of Life" theme song!
Enjoyed these, but as an old wise woman of 66, I was busy raising my children in the 80's and didn't get out and about.
Ok, ok I confess - Ghostbusters :) of all 20 this is the only one I'm quilty of though :)
I have the perfect hair for the '80's styles...I so miss it because it takes so much more work to tame it! Great list...who ya' gonna' call?
I do #17 too. The rest, well I grew up in the late 60's, early 70's so I would have a different list.
