20 Ways to Use Sunscreen Lotion Around Your Home

Sandra Bacon
I'm going to list 20 ways to use sunscreen lotion around your home, as well as a little history about how it was invented and who invented it. And on that note, there seems to be some discussion as to who really invented sunscreen lotion.

According to http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-history-of-sunscreen.htm it was a South Australian chemist by the name of Milton Blake who came up with a sunburn lotion in the early 1930s, while others say that since it was Eugene Schueller, founder of L'Oreal , who was able to take sunscreen lotion to the next level, that he was the actual inventor of sunscreen lotion.

And yet even more people say it was Franz Greiter, an Austrian scientist who came up with something called glacier cream in 1946. This cream was suppose to protect the skin of people who climbed the mountains on the Swiss-Austrian border.

These men may have all played an important role in the creation of sunscreen lotion, but people in the US only know of Miami physician, Dr. Benjamin Green and his sunscreen lotion called Coppertone.

Except the SPF will have to be even stronger. You don't ever want to use old sunscreen block. Any over one year old, needs to be thrown away.
