2005 Cadillac CTS Review

The 2005 Cadillac CTS is a great luxury sedan, with leather seats and a spacious interior you will not find much not to love about this vehicle. It comes with a choice of a 2.8 V6 or a 3.6 V6, if you care about speed and power, go with the 3.6. If you care about saving gas then give the 2.8 V6 a shot. It comes in manual or automatic, with a 6 speed transmission. The 2005 CTS is very smooth and easy to drive. It is one of the easiest cars I have ever driving. The handling is superb, as it is with most Cadillac vehicles. This would be a great first car for a new driver, or for the elderly driver. It originally sold for $30885, but now you can get one much cheaper, in the $15000-$20000 dollar price range considering the specs and the condition of the vehicle.

The 2005 Cadillac CTS is fast and quick, it will get you where you need to go on the road and accelerates quickly. The CTS has taken over as Cadillacs flagship sedan, and is more then just a Honda Civic with a Cadillac emblem. In fact the CTS is the heaviest car in its class. That alone should tell you that the CTS is more then what it seems on the outside. In terms of top speed, I topped out this car at 125 MPH, I wonder if there is any room for it to go faster.

People are wary these days of the Cadillac and GM name brand because of the bankruptcy and rightfully so. If you want a CTS but are skeptical of the new ones that are coming out in 2009. Then give one of the older models like the 2005 Cadillac CTS some thought. It was made when the company was doing extremely well, so you don't have to worry about getting a cheap car.

In conclusion, the 2005 CTS came with a 2.8 or 3.6 V6 and you could buy it in a manual or automatic transmission. The CTS originally sold for $30885 but you can now have it much cheaper. The $15000-$20000 ballpark is the figure that they are selling at today depending on all the different features you could add in a CTS. This is one of the easiest cars to drive I have ever driven, and it would be a great car for a new driver to learn how to drive on.
