2007 Country Living Fair Coming to Morrow, Ohio September 28th Through 30th
Hosted by Country Living Magazine, Fair Will Feature Antiques, Crafts, Food, How-to Seminars, and Fun Fall Festivities
Country Living is a monthly magazine featuring topics ranging from antiques and crafts, to home decorating, gardening, and outdoor living, to cooking and entertaining. Seminars and artisan demonstrations will bring these topics to life as magazine editors mingle amongst readers at the Country Living Fair. The weekend will also include children's activities, a harvest and gourmet market, and fall festivities.
Country Living's website provides a detailed schedule for the weekend's events. Friday will include a dessert demonstration with one of the magazine's food editors and a session focusing on kitchen ideas with acclaimed craftsman David T. Smith. On Saturday Ken Farmer from the television program, Antiques Roadshow will be appraising some selected pieces. Sunday will include an additional seminar with David T. Smith as well as a behind the scenes peak at PBS' Antiques Roadshow with its executive producer.
The Country Living Fair is held outside, under tents on the beautiful grounds of The Workshops of David T. Smith. The fair hours will be 10am to 5pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 28, 29, and 30. Admission will be $12 for adults and children 16 and under are free. A pass for the entire weekend will cost $20. A one-year subscription to Country Living magazine will cost only $5 with admission to the fair. According to the West Chester Pulse Journal, magazine representatives expect more than 6,000 people and over 100 vendors to attend the 2007 Country Living Fair. Vendors will include artists, antique dealers, and crafters. The magazine's website is continually updating a list of the diverse, high-quality vendors expected to sell their items at the upcoming Country Living Fair.
This is the second annual fair sponsored by the magazine. 2006's Country Living Fair was held at the Botanical Gardens in Chicago, Illinois. The town of Morrow is situated in southwest Ohio near the many antique shops in Lebanon and Waynesville. Morrow was chosen for its central location and the strong relationship Country Living magazine has with renowned craftsman David T. Smith whose work has been featured in the magazine multiple times.
Morrow is located in Warren County, approximately 30 minutes north of Cincinnati, 30 minutes southeast of Dayton, and one hour south of Columbus. Morrow is also about than two hours from Indianapolis, Louisville, and Lexington and six hours from Chicago or St. Louis. The 2007 Country Living Fair at The Workshops of David T.
