Are you and your family looking for that one specific holiday event in California? Look no further! Here you will find many different activities and events located in California for you, your friends, and your entire family to enjoy.

California Holiday Boat Parades are happening all through out the state of California in this holiday month of December. Be sure to check out at least one of them. They are a holiday event you and your family do not want to miss. All the holiday parades are free of charge to watch, there maybe however a small cost for parking.

Los Angeles Harbor Holiday Afloat Parade - Saturday, Dec.1st, between 6-7:30 pm through the Port of LA Main Channel.

Marina Del Rey Boat Parade - Saturday, Dec. 8th, between 6-8 pm at Burton Chace Park located at 13650 Mindanao Way.

King Harbor Boat Parade - Saturday, Dec. 15th, between 5:30-7 pm at the Redondo Beach Arena.

Long Beach Parade of 1000 Lights
- Saturday, Dec. 8th, at 6:30 pm at the Downtown Shoreline Marina.

Naples Christmas Boat Parade
- Saturday, Dec. 15th, at 6:00 pm with the small boats coming from the 2nd Street Bridge, and the large boats departing from the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club.

Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade - Dec. 12th - Dec.16th starting at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm., at the bay side of Balboa Peninsula from 18th Street to Bay Avenue. According to the New York Times this holiday event is one of their favorites. Some yachtsmen spend nearly $50,000 to light up their yachts.

Oceanside Parade of Lights
- Dec.8th starting at 6 pm. - 9 pm., at the Oceanside Harbor. To get more information on this holiday event, please call 760-722-5751.

San Diego Harbor Parade of Lights
- Dec.9th and Dec.16th starting at 5:30 - 9:00 pm., at the San Diego Bay. This year's theme is A Pirates Christmas. You can watch this holiday event from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, The Embarcadero, Seaport Village and the Ferry Landing.

Carmichael - Light Up X-Mas Christmas Lights - Dec.1st - Dec. 31st., starting at 6 pm - 10 pm, located at 6425 Meadowhill Court. This holiday event offers hundreds of twinkling, pulsating Christmas lights that are in sync with holiday music. The cost to see this beautiful house lit up during the holiday season is free of charge, however if you would like to bring cans of food to donate to the hungry, you may.

Huntington Beach - Light of Love - Dec. 1st and 2nd, starting at 4:30 pm.. Children do not want to miss the Christmas parade that begins on Orange Street and heads towards Huntington Beach Pier. With classic holiday guests like Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus riding the wave of Christmas cars and trucks. Once the parade has reached the pier, the annual lighting of the Huntington Beach Pier begins with hundreds of lit up snowflakes that have been donated by local businesses to help fund the Huntington Beach Youth Shelter.

And last but not least, I give you the ever so popular Jack London Square located a the foot of Broadway at Embarcadero in Oakland, California which is easily accessible by ferry boat, train, bus or by car. This gorgeous array of holiday magic that engulfs Jack London Square all through out the holiday season is definitely a sight that you, your family and even your friends do not want to miss while visiting California this holiday season. Full of restaurants and little shops for you to enjoy, Jack London Square during Christmas is a photo opportunity and a chance to feel how Christmas should really feel.
