Golden - November 30th at 6:00pm bring the entire family to 15th and Arapahoe Street for a festival of Christmas. Walk the Candlelight Walk with visitors and residents of the beautiful Golden, Colorado. Those who participate can dress festive for this old time caroling walk throughout Golden. Candles will be sold by the Golden Chamber of Commerce for .50 cents each. The walk begins at 6:30 pm. Live reindeer, puppet shows, toys, cookies, and many other refreshments will be offered by local business after the walk is over. Cascade - If your going to do anything in Colorado, you must stop by The North Pole, Home of Santa's Workshop, located at 5050 Pikes Peak Highway. Santa;s Workshop is open from April 14th - December 30th, every year. This extravagant theme park is a must for those children who want to meet Santa and his elves. Once the children have met Santa, there are over 24 rides to enjoy during your entire stay. There is also a petting zoo where you can feed the goats, llamas and other family friendly animals.
