Pueblo - Bring the kids down to the Pueblo HARP located at 200 West 1st Street, for a boat ride to remember with Santa Clause. This wonderful scenic boat ride is offered from November 23rd - November 24th. This holiday event allows children and adults to see the beautiful Lake Elizabeth which has waterfowl, fish and tons of other wildlife for all to enjoy while riding around with Santa Claus. Alamosa - Do not miss this unbelievable winter train ride, the North Pole Express located at 601 State Avenue, and available from November 23rd - December 16th. Take a ride and see why everyone loves scenic Colorado. Prices for this wintery ride are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Golden - November 30th at 6:00pm bring the entire family to 15th and Arapahoe Street for a festival of Christmas. Walk the Candlelight Walk with visitors and residents of the beautiful Golden, Colorado. Those who participate can dress festive for this old time caroling walk throughout Golden. Candles will be sold by the Golden Chamber of Commerce for .50 cents each. The walk begins at 6:30 pm. Live reindeer, puppet shows, toys, cookies, and many other refreshments will be offered by local business after the walk is over. Cascade - If your going to do anything in Colorado, you must stop by The North Pole, Home of Santa's Workshop, located at 5050 Pikes Peak Highway. Santa;s Workshop is open from April 14th - December 30th, every year. This extravagant theme park is a must for those children who want to meet Santa and his elves. Once the children have met Santa, there are over 24 rides to enjoy during your entire stay. There is also a petting zoo where you can feed the goats, llamas and other family friendly animals. Prices to this enchanted park are $16.95 for children and adults 2-59. Children under 2 and adults over 60 are free of charge. Denver - Do you love the sound of holiday music to get you into the spirit of Christmas? Then you will love to hear 300 tuba players from all around the region in this amazing TubaChristmas produced by the University of Colorado at Denver's College of Arts & Media. This not to miss event will be held on December 9th between 1-2 pm, at Skyline Park located at 16th and Arapahoe Street. Admission to the longest running holiday festival is free of charge as is the beautiful sight of the holiday decorations that will light up Downtown Denver.
