Winchester - Between Nov.30th - Dec 1st, Christmas in the Village will be a holiday event that you, your family and your friends will not want to miss. This free holiday event will show off more than 1,300 lights that will light up Main Street. This traditional holiday event will feature festivities that include the traditional Dickens characters, a Christmas tree lighting as well as Tuba players playing holiday music throughout the night. Coshocton - Out of all the holiday events in Ohio, the Christmas Candlelighting at Historic Roscoe Village is one you and your family do not want to miss out on. Festivities will be the first three Saturdays in December (1st, 5th, and the 15th) and will be held at 381 Hill Street. Once there, attendees will be able to listen as a reading of an inspirational Christmas story that is done all in front of the beautiful 35 foot astounding Christmas tree. After the story and the lighting of the Christmas tree villagers and guests can light a candle and sing "Silent Night". As the sweet sound of holiday music is all through the town, carriage rides, music, and tours through out the town will be offered for no charge. Middletown - Don't miss this spectacular holiday event where nearly a dozen hot air balloons that will light up the night sky in the Light Up Middletown holiday event. This fantasy light display will allows you and your family to drive through a 40 foot tunnel full of lights with a reflecting pool of floating swans, leaping deer, penguin village and an amazing butterfly forest. Light Up Middletown is located at Smith Park at 500 Tytus Avenue. The Balloon Glow is free for all, and a small donation is asked for the holiday light show.
