Greg Oden looks like the easier choice for the Blazers to make. Durant fits them more, but do they have the guts to pull off such a move?
2. Seattle Supersonics - Kevin Durant, 6'10" SF Texas
One of the easiest picks to make in the history of the draft is this one. Sonics take whoever the Blazers don't, in this case, Kevin Durant.
3. Atlanta Hawks - Al Horford, 6'10" PF Florida
Hawks won't get a deal done that includes this pick in time, but they may use Horford to trade later on in a blockbuster deal.
4. Memphis Grizzlies - Mike Conley, Jr., 6'1" PG Ohio State
Grizzlies need a point guard. Conley is the top rated on the board. Case closed.
5. Boston Celtics - Nick Young, 6'5" SG Southern California
This is where the draft gets interesting. Young was brought in for workouts on Wednesday and is a favorite of one of the Celtics brass. Young would be one of the safest picks in the draft.
6. Philadelphia 76ers - Yi Jianlian, 7'1" SF/PF China
Philadelphia reportedly is in talks to acquires this pick to get Yi.. They give up their 12 and 21 for the Bucks 6th pick and Yi.
7. Minnesota Timberwolves - Corey Brewer, 6'8" SF Florida
The Wolves pick is tough to call, especially if they pick up other picks through the KG deal. They will lose Garnett before the season and Brewer gives them an NBA ready player on the perimeter. Al Thornton, Jeff Green and Spencer Hawes are also possible.
8. Golden State Warriors - Al Thornton, 6'7" SF/PF Florida State
Al Thornton is ready to play in the NBA and is very versatile, which is a huge plus to the Warriors style. The Warriors will trade up in an attempt to get Yi, but will get the better player in Thornton instead.
9. Chicago Bulls - Jeff Green, 6'10" SF/PF Georgetown
Jeff Green is very versatile, but lacks the same athleticism as Thornton. The Bulls want Yi but will settle for the KG like Green. Green will not be as good as KG and is not as athletic, but he will be a good fit for the Bulls. Spencer Hawes is also possible here.
10. Sacramento Kings - Brandan Wright, 6'10" SF/PF North Carolina
The best thing that could happen to the Kings is Wright dropping this far. There are many concerns about Wright that have dropped him from a potential number 3 pick to number 10. Kings get a no-lose prospect this late in the draft and his versatility will help them a lot.
