2007 Summer Movie Guide Part 3

This fun animated-adventure film from Pixar Studios revolves around "Remy", a rat who longs to become a chef. He lives in Paris where he has a taste for only the finest of foods. The rat is a regular at a Parisian restaurant much to the dismay of employees but eventually strikes up a friendship with the garbage boy. "Remy" promises to teach the young boy the finer points of cooking if he agrees to let him live. "Ratatouille" features the voices of Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm, Brian Dennehy, Peter O'Toole, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo and Will Arnett. It is directed by Brad Bird ("The Incredibles"). "Ratatouille" will be released in theaters on June 29th.

The Bourne Ultimatum

This is the third installment of "The Bourne" films and is based on the novel by Robert Ludlum. This espionage thriller picks up where the last one left off. "Jason Bourne" still suffering from amnesia continues on his quest to find out his identity. He teams up with a journalist who may hold what he's looking for. Follow "Jason Bourne" from Russia, France, Spain, England and New York all the while trying to dodge the most elite of killers who don't want him to know the truth. "The Bourne Ultimatum" stars Matt Damon, Paddy Considine, Edgar Ramirez, Julia Stiles, Chris Cooper, Brian Cox and Joan Allen. It is directed by Paul Greengrass ("The Bourne Supremacy"). "The Bourne Ultimatum" will be released in theaters on August 3rd.

The Simpsons Movie

This is an animated film based on the television series. It seems though unfortunately that the studio has released very little information regarding the plot of this film. All I can tell you is that Homer has to save the world. "The Simpsons Movie" features the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Minnie Driver, Kelsey Grammer, Joe Mantegna and Albert Brooks. It is directed by David Silverman. "The Simpsons Movie" will be released in theaters on July 27th.

Transformers

Does anyone remember "Transformers" the animated series from the mid 80's? Well it's coming to the big screen and it's a live action film. An animated film was released in 1986. "Transformers" revolves around the Autobots and the Decepticons who bring their battle to Earth because of our natural resources that they are in need of. A showdown eventually happens between Optimus Prime and Megatron. "Transformers" stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Rachael Taylor, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Voight, Anthony Anderson and John Turturro. "Transformers" also features the voices of Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving and Keith David. It is directed by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg is one of the executive producers. "Transformers" will be released in theaters on July 3rd.
