Mr. Bean's Holiday

The dimwitted but lovable character known as "Mr. Bean" is back with a new comedy. This is the sequel to the first film that was released back in 1997 and that was based on the 1990 television series simply titled, "Mr. Bean". Fans might want to get a chance to catch this film as supposedly this will be the last time you will witness "Mr. Bean" and his zany antics. So on to the plot. "Mr. Bean" wins a trip to France through a raffle. Along the way he gets into trouble, accidentally of course which includes showing his own video diary to a stunned audience at the Cannes Film Festival. "Mr. Bean's Holiday" stars Rowan Atkinson, Emma de Caunes, Willem Dafoe, Jean Rochefort, Max Baldry and Karel Roden. "Mr. Bean's Holiday" is directed by Steve Bendelack ("The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse"). "Mr. Bean's Holiday" is to be released in theaters on August 27th.

Resurrecting the Champ

"Erick Kernan" is a sports reporter who is looking for his next story. By a chance encounter meeting, he runs across a homeless man on skid row who is referred to as "Champ". He quickly realizes that "Champ" was a legend in the world of boxing who many had believed was dead. "Erick" takes this amazing opportunity to bring his story back to life. Along the way, it causes "Erick" to analyze himself as well as his family. "Resurrecting the Champ" stars Samuel L. Jackson, Josh Hartnett, Kathryn Morris, Dakota Goyo, Teri Hatcher, Alan Alda and Peter Coyote. "Resurrecting the Champ" is directed by Rod Lurie ("The Last Castle"). "Resurrecting the Champ" is to be released in theaters on August 24th.

Halloween

This film is a remake of John Carpenter's highly successful 1978 horror flick of the same name. Young "Michael Meyers" lives in the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois. Mentally unstable, he decidedly stabs his older sister to death on the eve of Halloween. Soon after he is placed in a mental institution where he lives until he escapes at the age of 27. "Michael" is in search of his little sister, "Laurie" the only person he ever truly cared about. He kills anyone in his path to get to her. "Halloween" stars Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Tyler Mane, Scout Taylor-Compton, Brad Dourif, Danielle Harris and William Forsythe. "Halloween" is directed and written by Rob Zombie. "Halloween" is to be released in theaters on August 31st.

    That's great to hear! I missed it in theaters so I'm hoping to catch it when it comes on DVD. Thanks for the info.

    I loved "Mr. Bean's Holiday," it was fun! Not so funny as the first BEAN movie perhaps, but still very good.
