2007's Best Dressed on the Emmy Red Carpet

The 2007 Emmy's this past Sunday was full of color. The gowns we saw were bold, some soft, some cute, some not so cute. Many times the actresses will wear gowns of white, red, or black because of its slimming and "safe" effects from the fashion police on the red carpet. However, the majority of actresses this year chose to wear new shades of yellow, pink, purple, and green. Some of the ladies at this year's Emmys were able to dominate the fashion scene and stir up quite a sexy sizzle.

Felicity Huffman arrived at the 2007 Emmy's wearing a beautiful David Meister gown. The long pink gown featured a draped, plungling neckline that showed off her extremely toned arms and figure. The gown also plummeted in the back, revealing her flawless skin and sexy back. The particular shade of pink on this gown went well with her skin color and beautiful caramel-honey blonde hair. She chose to also wear simple pink earrings, an elegant silver bracelet, and pretty pink toe nail polish to match her gown. Felicity was absolutely gorgeous and has my top pick as best dressed on the red carpet!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore a long Narciso Rodriguez gown in a stunning shade of purple for this year's Emmys. The vibrant purple looked amazing against Julia's skin and dark hair. The dress fit snug to her body and showed off her curves, but did make her seem a bit wide. She accessorized with simple, small earrings and get this - dark blue heels! To many that may have seemed tacky, but for Julia Louis-Dreyfus it was a bold, yet hot choice to make.

Eva Longoria did something different. Lots of the other ladies wore long gowns, but Eva showed up on the red carpet wearing a dazzling knee-length dress. The gold dress sparkled and really brought attention to her face and tan toned body. The backless effect of the dress went on to show off her smooth and gorgeous back. Her dress's sequins just reminded me of champagne or ginger ale. It was breath-taking! Kudos to her makeup as well - it looked painted on and absolutely flawless!

When I first saw Vanessa Williams I could not believe what she was wearing. I didn't know whether to like it or hate it. But, sitting there in front of the tv watching her smiling it hit me - only she could pull this off and make it look lovely. Her sea foam green strapless gown was adorned in feathers from underneath her boobs on down to the floor. Yes, I said feathers! Despite the thoughts of Bjork in my mind, I think the dress was wonderful on Vanessa. The color was soft, the gown flowed gracefully with her, and the sea foam green really brought out her pretty eyes.
