"The new GORE HOUSE is the first stop on your trip of terror, then through the improved cemetary path that leads you through the expanded Elder Wood and then into the Main House."

The proceeds of this house all go to charity, so you can do good while being scared to death. Actors are volunteers from the Lion's Club Legion of Terror, which has its own website: http://www.legionofterror.com/ All shows are (brrrr!) interactive. Choose your monster - vampires, witches, demons, zombies, werewolves - each featured in a different week. "Please be aware that the show can be graphic and is not recommend for those with heart conditions, expecting mothers, children under 8 years old, or anyone with an adverse reaction to strobes and artificial fog."

Season starts with Dysfunctional Family Weekend September 19-20, continues through November 1.
Thursdays and Sundays, 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 8 p.m. to midnight.
Admission, $15.00 for adults; $10.00 for children under eight (not recommended), $5.00 repeats.

Seven haunted houses at one site. The insane asylum and the butcher shop sound good, but they don't have their 2008 hours up yet on the web.
Admission (2007) was $22.00 for all seven houses, or $20.00 for any three, and there's a coupon on the website (but not for Saturdays, and it doesn't say it's good for 2008).

    I used to go to Bloodview all the time when I was in high school, even though I hate haunted houses!
